Since 2004, posite insulators have entered the European market, starting the historical process of replacing traditional products. European power equipment manufacturers represented by ABB, GE, and SIEMENS have realized comprehensive cooperation with SMAREPC. In the past 16 years, posite insulator have replaced 30% of traditional products, and have entered a faster replacement stage now.
At 20:00 on January 26, Madrid time, Spain (the second day of the Lunar New Year), on the 3rd day of Wuhan's "closure of the city", SMAREPC Chairman Mr. Ma Bin and the head of the European subsidiary of SMAREPC arrived in Madrid, Spain.
During the week-long visit, the Spanish Energy Group, Spanish Power Grid REE, Atage CEO, and the CEOs of two world-renowned EPC company groups held discussions with SMAREPC on global business strategies.
The Spanish national grid, highly appraised SHEMAR upon having learned that SMAREPC's external insulation transmission, distribution and substation overall solutions with its commitment to be maintenance-free for 30 years has led the global power industry transformation. The Spanish national grid subsequently changed its suppliers' qualification and products certification period from 2 years to 1 year, with a view to launch a comprehensive cooperation with SMAREPC as soon as possible.
At the same time, this trip also completed the recruitment of local general managers for the Spanish and Portuguese subsidiaries of SMAREPC who has served as the general manager of EPC companies in many countries in Latin America and Spain, and has extensive industry experience. After in-depth understanding of the technology and comprehensive advantages of SMAREPC’s products and solutions, he decided quickly to join SMAREPC.
United States-Los Angeles
Beginning in 2004, SHEMAR started cooperation with American power equipment companies and quickly led the replacement of traditional substation insulation products in the United States. So far, the replacement ratio in the US market has reached 40%, leading the transformation of external insulation in both United States and Europe.
At 14:00 on February 2nd, US Eastern Time, three hours before the entry into force of the ban on foreigners who have been to the mainland of China in the past 14 days, the head of the US subsidiary of SMAREPC arrived in Los Angeles to promote matters such as the registration and site selection of the US subsidiary and the establishment of localized teams, etc.
India-Gurgaon
Since 2009, SHEMAR substation composite insulators have entered the Indian market, completely eliminating the problems of explosion, brittle fracture, flashover and full life cycle maintenance of traditional material products. The number of applications in the Indian market has maintained about 94% of the composite insulators. The average annual growth rate has realized a rapid replacement of traditional products.
At 15:30 on March 13th, New Delhi, India, 2 hours before India’s “closed state”, the heads of the Indian subsidiary of SMAREPC overcame obstacles and arrived in Gurgaon, India. Promptly support the bidding of Indian power grid customers' projects, and bring epidemic prevention materials to customers in need.
During this period, the recruitment of 3 localization team members including the marketing director of SMAREPC 's Indian subsidiary was completed.

SMAREPC planned to establish subsidiaries/offices covering more than 80 countries and regions in North America, Europe, ASEAN, South Africa, North Africa, East Africa, etc., and continue to cooperate with well-known local headhunting companies to complete the localization team construction work.
